The NCWIT Workforce Alliance (WA) serves the needs of companies in recruiting, retaining and advancing technical women in corporate environments. As a WA member, you work with other distinguished organizations (see the list of Workforce Alliance Members) and over 250 leading university and K-12 organizations.
Benefits
Membership in NCWIT's Workforce Alliance yields significant benefits. Members gain access to the technical talent pipeline, tap into the latest research and business critical data, connect with industry and academic experts, pilot programs with corporate peers, participate in national outreach programs, and see recognition through their corporate support.
Projects
The Male Corporate Influencers Team is researching the male experience with diversity efforts in the technical workplace: what drives men to advocate on behalf of technical women, and what motivates or discourages them to be involved in change efforts.
The Mid-career Technical Women Team developed tips for women facing competing priorities, and a manager’s guide to help point out options women might not know they have. Check out our Guide for Retaining and Advancing Mid-career Technical Women and our Top Ten Ways Managers Can Retain Technical Women.
The Technical Women Visibility Team is creating tips for technical women to better earn recognition and promotions.
The Resource Development Team is working on new resources, improving distribution and implementation of existing resources, and tailoring resources to meet the needs of the project teams.
