The mission of NCWIT’s K-12 Alliance is to inspire girls to become more interested in and confident with computing, and to increase the recruitment, retention and advancement of girls in IT, computing, and computer science study and careers.
K-12 Alliance member representatives often work on committees or projects that are of mutual benefit to the Alliance and the mission of the member organization. See the list of K-12 Alliance Members.
Through direct contact, members of the NCWIT K-12 Alliance currently can reach more than 52% of school-age girls in the United States.
